Sorry - did not realize that I had left my location blank. I'm thinking that more likely I've got a body control module that's buggered now. I've taken it apart and reassembled it, double checking the connections along the way. I'm confident that there isn't a problem with the airbag system itself that needs to be repaired. Which needs to be repaired.I actually used a long jumper wire with a switch built into it, so that I could hook up to pins 15 and 19 of the DLC and press the button to create the jumpered state, and let off of the button to create the disconnected state. The light does not clear, there is most likely a problem with the air bag system If the light does not clear repeat the procedure. The air bag warning light should clear after approximately 10 Turn the ignition switch to the on (run) position but, do not start the car.ġ2. Ground.(Pin # 19 of the Data Link Connector.)ģ.
